Blehhh ik kon vannacht niet slapen, ondanks mijn slaappil. Dat heb ik gewoon zo af en toe, vooral wanneer mijn hersens over actief zijn geweest. Dan zijn ze met geen mogelijkheid tot rust te brengen, zelfs niet met slaappillen. Vanmorgen om half zeven kon ik nog net de kracht opbrengen om te ontbijten, want dat moet voor mijn diabetes. Hierna ben ik omstreeks 07:30 toch nog 'even' onder de wol gekropen en kom er nu nét pas uitgerold 😅 Schandálig, maar het kán gewoon 😅 Toch nog even een paar uurtjes heerlijk geslapen. Al bij al maar iets van 5 uurtjes maar kennelijk heb ik niet méér nodig 🥱 Nu lekker wasjes draaien en een beetje in huis rommelen. Vanavond eet ik lekker een tomatensoepje van Unox 😋 En dat was mijn avontuur weer voor vandaag!

A Plea for Respect 🏳️‍⚧️ ​I came across a heartbreaking facebook post today from someone who has transitioned from a long-time crossdresser to identifying as a trans woman. This person may not 'pass' instantly or look conventionally 'super feminine' yet, but that absolutely does not matter. ​Every single transgender person has a personal journey to walk. 👠 ​Imagine spending a lifetime being perceived as one gender, only to finally embrace the person you truly are—a woman. You’re learning, experimenting, and searching for the best way to express your authentic self. This is a brave, beautiful, and often vulnerable process! ​The comments on her post were utterly vicious: ​“You’ll always be a man.” "You still look like a dude." “Look what escaped from the madhouse.” ​These brutal, cruel comments are things people would NEVER say face-to-face, yet online they feel entitled to unleash this malice. ​🛑 Stop and Think. ​You are interacting with a human being with real feelings. Every trans person is on a journey of discovery and self-acceptance. Who are you to attack their bravery? Would you enjoy being targeted and torn down like that? ​The golden rule holds true: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. ​The magic word is RESPECT.
