Dear members,

Work on MusiQloud is still temporarily on hold.

Over the past months, I’ve pushed myself to the limit building the foundation of this platform — and that foundation is now finally in place. Almost everything is working as intended, aside from a few remaining bugs.

MusiQloud is not officially “live” yet. Combined with the fact that we’re still relatively unknown, this is why you may not see much activity or interaction here just yet. Quite simply: not many people know we exist — yet.

Building this platform has taken a lot out of me. Right now, I genuinely need rest. I’m at the point where I’ve stared at so much code and solved so many technical issues that I need to step away for a while to recharge.

For the time being, I won’t be able to actively work on the site. However — and this is important — that does not mean you should stop posting.

MusiQloud only has value if you are active.

So please, keep sharing, keep creating, keep engaging.

I’ll be back as soon as I can, and when I return, I hope to bring you exciting new updates and improvements.

This beautiful song was created with SUNO. It is a tribute to my father, who suddenly collapsed and died right in front of me 20 years ago.

Earlier that afternoon, we had been working together in the garden, and everything seemed perfectly fine—there wasn’t a cloud in the sky.

My (dementing) mother had gone to day care. I was sitting behind my computer, chatting with a friend and sharing music. The van arrived to bring my mother home, and my father went to pick her up and helped her sit down on the couch.

Suddenly, I heard a loud thud. My poor mother was in complete panic, not understanding what was happening.

I jumped up and ran into the living room. There, I saw my father lying on the floor, staring into nothingness. I knew immediately: “He’s gone.”

I completely panicked. I called emergency services, and the ambulance arrived very quickly. But sadly, they couldn’t save my father. His heart had stopped.

I never got the chance to say goodbye 😓

In memory of my father, I created this beautiful, heartbreaking song this morning:

“I never got to say Goodbye”
